Sake sets and lucky cats porcelains added

Hello and Welcome to www.nipponcraft.com,

We would like to introduce sake sets and lucky cats porcelains added in our website recently.

These porcelains are produced around the city of Nagoya, the middle part of Japan. The regions are rich of good clay for producing fine potteries for over 1,500 years. I traveled to these regions, and selected items directly from factories. These porcelains are handmade and hand-painted.

Sake is Japanese rice wine, and a set of a bottle and matching small shot cups is often used for drinking sake among family and colleagues. The bottle holds approximately 200 mL sake and is used for heating sake in hot water and for pouring sake. People and family get together and enjoy sake with the matching cups.
These designs painted on the bottles and cups may look quite, but these are genuine touches of traditional potteries.

I also selected beautifully painted porcelain pair cups for drinking sake and wine. These cups are 13cm (5") high and 5cm (2") diameter on the bottom. The cranes are hand-painted.

I know that there are some fans of lucky cats (Mankeki-Neko) in the world. I selected some lucky cat figures that bring in fortune to your home. These figures are approximately 13.5 cm (5 1/3") high.
A cat raising its left hand beckons guests to your home, and a cat raising its right hand beckons money fortune to your business.
These lucky cats are produced in Tokoname city (the south of Nagoya), a major lucky cat porcelains production area.

Three Ukiyo-e noren curtains added

Hello and Welcome to www.nipponcraft.com

We have added three new design Ukiyo-e noren curtains at http://www.nipponcraft.com/index_en_jpy_3.html. They are 100% cotton and the dimensions are 85cm Wide X 150cm High (33 -1/2" X 59").  The dyeing method is silkscreen, so there appear designs on one side only.
Please enjoy the beauty of Ukiyo-e noren curtains at home.

The original painter of this Ukiyo-e claimed that the fisherman was fishing in a steep river, looking over Mount Fuji in the back.
The Ukiyo-e is said to be painted in a small town called Kajikazawa in Yamanashi prefecture.
