Today March 3rd is our 10th anniversary for www.nipponcraft.com.
When we opened our web-shop in March 2011, we had the huge earthquake and the tsunami hit the east cost of Japan. And, from last year to now, we are having tough time with corona pandemic. I am hoping better future will come soon. Or maybe, we are undergoing some sort of a paradigm shift?
I know that each nation has its own history, culture and human lives. Everyone is proud of his/her own culture. Through understanding and respecting each other's nation and culture, the world will be more peaceful and balanced. A traveling is surely one of the best ways to understand a foreign country and culture, but it is hard now under the corona. A shopping traditional items and touching them and feeling them is other option. And we are providing traditional items made with craftsmen's spirits.
Today is also "Hina-Matsuri" (ひな祭り) day for kids for wishing them to grow healthy.
