New Tenugui added

We could not add new designs on the website for the past few months since we were quite occupied with migrating all the items' data to a new software and that we had to check the consistency between the website items and all the stock at the warehouse...

New design Tenugui for Kendo

Hello and Welcome to www.nipponcraft.com,

We have created simple black and white calligraphy design tenugui for Kendo "kenshi" 剣士. The  tenugui is 34 cm wide X 100 cm long, and is suitable for a headscarf under a Men 面.
These tenugui are manufactured by "Chu-sen" dye traditional method, and they remove sweats very well.  
One design is a calligraphy writing "Ikki-Tousen" meaning a mighty power for fighting against 1,000 enemies, and the other is a simple Zen style circle. Hoping good kendo practice with these tenugui!

Cotton Furoshiki restocked

We have restocked cotton Furoshiki (wrapping cloths) of several designs.

Recently, I had a customer asking what are the dimensions of Furoshiki. Furoshiki have variety of dimensions, and the cotton Furoshiki have the dimensions sequence of : 50 cm - 90 cm - 100 cm (derivative: 105 cm) - 118 cm - 130 cm width.  Technically, a Furoshiki wider than 130 cm can be produced, but in this case, textures are sewn together. At our store, we have 90cm, 100 cm (or 105 cm),  118 cm and 130 cm cotton Furoshiki for souvenirs.
