We have added new tenugui from Osaka city. These tenugui come in more modern design with the traditional motifs. Osaka is an unique city. It is one of the oldest cities in Japan (much older than Tokyo), but the people there still pursue modern tastes and changes.
These listed tenugui are produced by using the traditional dye method called "Chu-sen". With this method, both sides of tenugui cloths are beautifully dyed. Chu-sen tenugui are very thin as well as durable for daily use. They absorb lots of water and dry very quickly. Different from thick cotton towels, tenugui offer unique touches!
